Offered in high quality print, here are four prints by three talented Brussels based artists.
Born and raised in Brussels, Jeremy Gérard lived abroad for a while before eventually settling within hearing distance from C12, the club where he works as in-house photographer. Armed with his camera charged with pushed high sensitivity film, he wanders the ambient darkness, uncovering glimpses of light and life.
"My main goal is to try and keep trace of our rituals or at least my experience of them. I'm using the camera as a means to pinpoint nuances in a seemingly chaotic mass. Not only going to work as a cameraman but wholeheartedly partaking in the endeavor at play, immersing myself in it. His works can be seen hanging from the walls of the club, their sheer size and placement doubling down on the invitation for the dancers to pause and reflect.
Inspirations: "While I revel at the spontaneity of Daido Moriyama's work and life, it's Stanislav Tůma that taught me how to enjoy presence in stillness and the simple beauty of balance."
